“We know the success of our practice is dependent not only on the approach and quality of our treatment, but the experience and treatment from the rest of our team as well. The entire staff is dedicated to making you feel comfortable, informed, and relaxed. We are very proud of our team’s knowledge and compassion and hope that you will have the most optimal visit and experience possible.”

Leigh (Zastrow) Compton was born in Rifle, Colorado and moved to the Vail Valley when she was 7 years old. She graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a degree in Biology. A couple years after graduating she came back home to help her parents with the dental practice and eventually evolved into becoming the office manager. She feels very fortunate to be able to now work with her brother on a daily basis.
When she is not working she is usually outdoors. She enjoys hiking, biking, fly fishing, camping, and skiing. She has also become an avid hunter in the last few years and it has become something she looks forward to every fall.
She also loves spending time with her husband, nieces, nephew and extended family whenever possible.
Jaryn moved to the Vail Valley from Southern Ohio in 2015. Coming from a dental family, she jokes that she grew up in a dental office and has been confirming appointments since before she could see over the counters. Jaryn and her husband, Michael, live in McCoy and have one daughter, Lindsey. 2019 is her favorite year yet because that is when her first grandchild, Emma, came along!
She enjoys leather crafting, fishing, camping, 4 wheeling and sitting around a fire with friends and family as often as she can.
Karen was born in Los Angeles and moved to the Vail Valley at the age of 7. During her senior year attending Red Canyon High School Karen came to Zastrow Dentistry where she learned to assist via in-office training. Shortly after graduating high school she began working full time for the office. She has now been here nearly seven years and has expanded her skills to working in the laboratory, as well as assisting. Karen states she loves her job because “… it’s not hard to get up in the morning and come to work for great people. They are understanding, helpful, and I respect every single one of them.” Karen is married and has a son, Luar. She enjoys meeting new people and loves animals!
